Bristol Blenheim Mk.V BA246

Bristol Blenheim Mk.V BA246

An outing with Mick and Moustache Steve to Bleasdale Fell in the Forest of Bowland Sunday before last yielded a couple of pools of wreckage from a fatal night training accident in 1944. This collection including undercarriage components is slightly lower than the main wreckage.

Hi Paul,

We saw them the second time when we went with Pat. He was all for driving up the lane, as you probably know he hates to walk- will do if we go again. We've been to quite a few other sites, but just don't have the time to post...

Yeah ,i know what you mean its hard wi work an all !
Been to quite a lot myself , of late . but flickr has become a waste of space so posting pics about em is a bit of a chore .
Glad you have got some in, in bowland , there are a few reasonable sites ...have you been upto wolf crag and had a look for the spitfire site ...i couldnt find owt ...it was a struggle to even find the Anson there although i eventually managed that .
Keep well
Paul

Ta Paul,

Might go up with Pat and/or Mick once work dies down a bit. If you have accurate Anson coords, might persuade Mick. He likes finding more than searching;-)
